Introduction

Prior to the establishment of this Animal Service Training Center, the Animal Development Project Resource Center was established on 13th Bhadra 2037 with the multilateral support of the Nepal Government, Asian Development Bank, UNDP, European Common Market and Australian Development Bureau. The project also had a training wing. Since the term of the project is only till 2044 Ashadh, after the end of the term, the training branch in the resource center was named as a regional training center under the Central Training and Dissemination Center under the Government of Nepal, Department of Animal Development and Animal Health. Thus, after the establishment of the regional training center, its working area was in nine districts of this development area namely Dhanusha, Mahotari, Sarlahi, Bara, Parsa, Rautahat, Sindhuli, Makwanpur and Chitwan. Various types of trainings related to medium level animal husbandry and animal health related to the animal husbandry farmers and animal services of the said nine districts were being given.

           V.No. According to the decision of the Council of Ministers on the 4th of Shravan 2049, the Department of Animal Services and other four departments related to agriculture were kept under a one-door system and a department named the Department of Agricultural Development was established, according to which the Regional Animal Services Training Center was included in the Agricultural Training Center and the Regional Animal Services Training Center of Janakpur was given agricultural training. The center was shifted to Agricultural Training Center Parwanipur Wara and its scope expanded to 19 districts of this development zone.

               After that V.No. Since 1st of Shravan 2052, there was a change in the structure of the Department of Agricultural Development and it was difficult to move from the Department of Agriculture to Animal Services in a fast and efficient way. The Department of Animal Services was established separately and in order to run the programs smoothly, according to that structure, the Regional Animal Services Training Center was under the Animal Services Training Division. Service training center Parwanipur, the former own building of the regional animal service training center in Janakpur has started operating the program again, thus providing training to animal husbandry farmers and middle-level technical staff of 19 districts of the central development region in accordance with the policies of the Animal Service Department, Animal Service Training and Public Directorate. is

              V.No. After implementation of federalism in the year 2075, according to the three-level structure of union, state and local, the current Regional Animal Service Training Center was transformed into a regional structure. Animal Service Training Center, Janakpurdham, Province no. 2 and currently the working area of this training center is in 8 districts Dhanusha, Mahotari, Sirha, Saptari, Sarlahi, Rautahat, Bara and Parsa.
